Hevesh has been creating domino art since she was 10. Her YouTube channel has more than 2 million subscribers, and she’s done projects for movies, television shows, and events, including the album launch for pop star Katy Perry. The largest of her creations take several nail-biting minutes to fall down. Hevesh puts a great deal of thought into her arrangements before she starts to make them happen. She then adds flat arrangements and finally the lines of dominoes that connect them all together. Throughout the process, she is constantly tweaking and refining her work. This process helps her to produce some of the most complex domino structures in the world.
Hevesh’s final goal is to have the entire piece of her work come together seamlessly, as though it had always been in place. She believes this is what will make the viewer’s experience truly magical.
While Hevesh has many projects in the pipeline, she doesn’t let her ambitions get ahead of her abilities. She knows that, if she doesn’t have enough skills or the right materials, she will not be able to produce the quality of work that she desires. She is careful to train herself on new skills when needed, and she never gives up.
